Travelling to different places around the world is always considered to be a huge expense and that you should think twice once you decide to do it, but that is not true. There are numerous countries in Europe and all around the world where you can travel at a low cost and the interesting thing about this countries is that they are hidden gems, which not many people have the knowledge to find. Trust me on this one, if you give a chance to one of the five following countries and take a visit you won't be let done. Without further ado let's take a look at the top five places in Europe you can travel on a low budget.
5.Estonia
Located in the Baltics, Estonia is one of the most underrated countries in Europe, offering great landmarks to see and a different culture from what we may be used to see. Tallinn, its capital city, offers a medieval architecture with old buildings is quite impressive even though only a small part of the city is covered in this style.

I would recommend, taking a chance and exploring the south side of Estonia, because you won't be let down by its amazing nature. The expenses in this country may vary from 20 - 30 Euros a day/person including food and your accommodation there. It is definitely a country to be considered under its price.
4.Portugal
Coming in at number 4 with its gorgeous churches and its Fado music, while drinking a glass of wine, Portugal is a country with a lot to offer. Even though it is a little over in price compared to the other countries in the list, Portugal is still one of the cheapest countries in Europe to travel.

Lisbon, the capital, gives you the opportunity to have a glimpse of what Portugal was in the past. Vasco de Gama, a breathtaking structured bridge named after the famous explorer is another landmark that should not be missed out, and also if you go during the summer especially, do not forget the wonderful Madeira to visit and why not enjoy the sun there. Portugal requires a normal budget of 40-60 Euros and even though it doesn't come as cheap as the others mentioned in the list, it is still a country worth visiting.
3.Poland
If you want to have a glimpse of what Eastern Europe looks like and not spending a high price, Poland is the place for you. A country which offers all kinds of entertainment to the tourists and comes in as a very low budget country when it comes to tourists travelling there.

Enjoy the hike in the Szczeliniec Wielki hike trail or wait until the night hits the country and visit its amazing nightclubs. Warsaw and Krakow, offer a both a wonderful architecture and come off as some of the cheapest cities in Europe. Spending at around 20-40 Euros a day, Poland should be one of the top places in your mind when it comes to choose for a short getaway with low budget.
2.Czech Republic
We see this country in many lists as a top place to visit and wonder, why? Czech Republic is one of the best places to visit in Europe whether you are on a healthy budget or if you want to spend almost nothing. The wonderful capital, Prague, is a perfectly structured city with some jaw dropping landmarks.

The "city of 1000 spires" has a gorgeous old town and a Jewish quarter which should not be left unseen. Explore further in this country and visit the romantic town of Český Krumlov, a perfect destination for you and your loved one. An average day in this country may vary from 30 to 50 Euro and at the end of the day you will be impressed by what this country offers.
1.Hungary
Managing to grab the first spot in our list with a lot of merit, comes Hungary. Whether it is your first time travelling in a different country or you have been in a long time, Hungary will surprise you no matter what. Budapest, the capital, is an essential place to see no matter what.

A perfect city which gives you the perception as if it was build only to attract tourists. Visit the Buda Castle and the Hungarian Parliament to see how detailed and important was for them the architecture. As is if the capital was not enough, Debrecen offers the same amount of greatness in itself. Your daily expenses should not be more than 40 Euro including accommodation and food, while they can come as cheap as 30 Euro. If you have a small amount of money that you are willing to spare travelling than Hungary is strongly considered from me to visit.
