"The City of Love" or "The City of Lights" as known by most people is one of the most visited places in the world each year, with an outstanding 47 million tourists recorded in 2015, Paris has an increase in tourists each year by a crazy amount, passing on average a 10% from the previous year. There are tens of activities you can have in this city starting from visiting great landmarks, eating their delicious food, partying and many others. As hard as it has been, I have managed to narrow down this list to the top 5 greatest possible things you can do in Paris for a short visit there.

5.Boat Tour on the Seine

This experience is definitely worth trying when you visit Paris. Admire the greatest landmarks located in this city in a 2 to 3 hour trip, while you are floating along one gorgeous river, the Seine.

Just being able to view all this incredible places in a boat tour is great in itself, let alone the fact that you can enjoy the delicious gourmet food that French are famous for, while having a sip of some great French champagne. Trust me, whether you are in company or even alone, this experience should not be left without a try. At the end of the day you will have admired all the beautiful landmarks and enjoyed some of the greatest food.

4. Take a Trip to Château de Versailles

A great landmark with incredible historical value, Château de Versailles is one of the finest pieces of architecture built in history, with a combination of modern and ancient this landmark is marvelous to visit.

Given to Marie-Antoinette as a birthday gift from the king, Louis XVI, this building has some of the most magnificent sculptures and pieces to watch. For the couples especially, I would recommend taking a boat and sailing in a small composed lake while being delighted upon the plan as to what the king decided to make for his wife for this event.

3.Admire the Louvre

The largest museum in the world definitely deserved a pot in this list. With an incredible 8 million tourists per year in average, the Louvre is a must visit spot in Paris.

An incredible infrastructure with a numerous amount of some of the greatest pieces in the world. Involving the great Mona Lisa, Egyptian antiquities, Roman and Greek ancient pieces, the Louvre is the number one spot to visit for all the passionate art lovers, where they have many floors covered in art and paintings, galleries which are impossible to see in a one day visit, but rather focus a whole trip in them, but anyway if you are a normal traveler, just visiting and watching the amazing picture of Mona Lisa is enough to call the visit totally worth it.

2.Entertain Yourself at Disneyland

One of the most famous entertainment resorts in the world, Disneyland is without a doubt a perfect destination, whether you are with friends, family or loved one. With a tremendous 13.4 million tourists in 2016, Disneyland is one of the most traveled spots in Paris and its increase is amazing.

Two great parks offered for every tourist, the Disneyland Park and the Walt Disney Studio Park, offer huge entertainment with some incredible rides and marvelous experiences witnessed throughout the day. If you are lucky, you might also catch some of its special events, where the atmosphere is magnificent, but either way this resort is a place you will memorize and will want to visit for a long time after you have been there, obviously due to the fact that taking the ship of Jack Sparrow in Pirates of Caribbean is an glorious moment you experience and will want to turn back.

1.Climb the Eiffel Tower

Probably expected by most of you, the Eiffel Tower is the most renowned landmark in Paris and one the greatest in the world. The symbol of Paris stands at 276 m for people to see in that height or 324 m if you include the height until the tip.

An extraordinary building which took over two years to build and more than 18 000 pieces of metal to stand, the Eiffel Tower is currently one of the tallest buildings in the world and without a doubt one of the most visited. Containing 8 lifts which serve for tourists throughout the day, the Eiffel Tower is the most paid monument in the world with over 6.5 million tourists recorded in 2015. If that is not enough, enjoying the food offered in one of the floors is another terrific experience offered inside this tower, with some delicious gourmet food and on the top of the tower there is a bar offering champagne, but I would recommend not drinking too much and getting tipsy, since the height is quite incredible. Nevertheless, the Eiffel Tower is a landmark which cannot be left unseen in your lifetime and it lives up to every expectation said for it.
