One of the most beautiful time on the year is winter and all the great spirit spread among all people is associated with some great vacations. The first thing that usually comes up in people's minds when asked about vacations during the winter is going in a ski resort and just enjoying that warmth that small towns offer to everyone and for the sport lovers to ski. Here we are going to take a look at the top 5 ski resorts that you should visit in Europe.

5.Méribel, France

Méribel located in Tarentaise Valley in the French Alps is one of the warmest towns to be present especially during holiday times.

A gorgeous ski resort with wooden houses and an architecture to be quite amazed for a ski resort. A great advantage this ski resort has is that it is situated in the heart of France's Trois Vallées ski area. The slopes here are intermediate, but just enjoying the great atmosphere that this town offers is enough to enjoy your holidays here.

4.Cerivina, Italy

Coming in at number four is one of the top touristic spots for skiing in Italy. On the border with Switzerland, Cerivina offers 360 km of slopes and gives all types of difficulty in its area.

An amazing place to enjoy almost all winter sports deserves a spot for one of the best ski resorts and important to mention is that its quite an economic resort which offers the same mountain like its neighbors,Swizterland, which comes off much more pricey, so if you want to focus especially on the sports, Cerivina is definetly one to consider.

3.Verbier, Switzerland

The main resort in Switzerland joins our list as one of the best ski resorts in Europe. Verbier has always been a great touristic spot not only for skiing but all the great activities it offers.

A perfect sunny climate, with jaw-dropping scenery joined in by its amazing nightlife, Verbier has it all. Although it comes of as a pricey resort, it definitely lives up to its price and expectation. For all the ski lovers, Verbier, has a huge ski area called Mont Fort, reaching as high as 3 330 meters which also offers a spectacular view.

2. St Anton, Austria

Also being one of the most renowned ski resorts in the world, St Anton is one of those resorts that I strongly consider you to take a very close look, since it has some of the greatest parties hosted.

Repeatedly mentioned in the top 5 ski resorts in the world, St Anton located in the Arlberg region has an area of around 600 km² to ski divided into different difficulties. Taking a vacation in St Anton is an absolutely different experience, especially for the young people who want to combine all this activities with some wild parties held in the resort.

1.Val d’Isère, France

An absolutely deserved spot is for the great ski resort of Val d’Isère located in the south-eastern area of France. Val d’Isère provides you with a gorgeous town as well as a great area to practice skiing.

One of the warmest ski resorts to be in the world, offers you a ski area of around 300 km² and some of the greatest places to stay for you in the winter. The slopes it contains vary from a lot, starting from a complete beginner to a professional. Also, enjoying a warm beverage around the fire while you see snow outside is another great aspect that should push you to have a vacation in this place. With its season starting from the end of November until the beginning of May, Val d’Isère, allows you to think about wether you should visit it or no, even though I'm convinced in telling you that if you decide to visit this place you will want to return again.
